High LDL-Cholesterol is BAD
High Oxidised LDL-Cholesterol can be even more DANGEROUS!

Natural nutritious healthy drink enriched with oat Beta-Glucan, Hydroxytyrosol, Alpha Lipoic Acid & organic green barley to help CONTROLLING the level of cholesterol in the arteries and PREVENTING the precipitation oxidation and inflammation of LDL-Cholesterol.

Each sachet contains 3 grams oat beta glucan. The health claims approved by FDA, EFSA and MOH are based on research showing that consuming 3 grams of beta-glucan/day can lower blood cholesterol.

Each sachet contains 5 mg of olive polyphenols. The EFSA has concluded that 5 mg of olive polyphenols daily contributed to the protection of LDL-Cholesterol from oxidative stress.

30g x 10 sachets

Place a sachet of LeyChol into 200ml warm water once daily. Enjoy this healthy and nutritious beverage at any time.

PREVENTING the precipitation, oxidation, and inflammation of LDL-Cholesterol is more important than CONTROLLING the level of cholesterol in the arteries. High levels of ox-LDL have become a major concern in cardiovascular research with regard to tis major role in increasing the risk for developing cardiovascular disease.

Role Of Ox-LDL In Atherosclerosis
Atherosclerosis, the dominant cause of cardiovascular disease, is a chronic inflammatory disease of the arterial wall, due to low density lipoprotein (LDL) accumulation in the wall. LDL is actually a complex of lipids and proteins and is the major carrier of cholesterol to maintain normal cell functions. Under conditions with high cholesterol, excess oxidative stress or genetic abnormalities, specific components of LDL can become altered or oxidised and the transport of cholesterol is disrupted. The oxidised LDL (ox-LDL) is then recognised by the clean up cells of the body called macrophages, which begin to engulf and remove the ox-LDL. However, as the level of ox-LDL increases. the macrophage cells cannot work properly and then are transformed into foam cells. which trigger growth of smooth muscle celss in the artery wall and forming of artherosclerosis plaque. The plaque slowly blocks blood flow in the arteries. Worst, if the plaque ruptures, a blood clot can form on its surface and results in life-threatening conditions such as heart attack and stroke.

Cardiovascular Risk Factors
Risk factors are conditions that increase risk of developing cardiovascular disease. Some risk factors are non modifiable like age, gender and family history. However, the majority of cardiovascular disease is caused by modifiable risk factors, such as diet, high cholesterol, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, smoking and physical inactivity. Lifestyle changes such as improving diet, losing weight and increasing exercise can make a huge difference.

Eat Right For Your Heart
Combined with exercise and other lifestyle changes, a healthy diet can do wonders in lowering cholesterol level and combat oxidative stress for heart health. The combination of antioxidants-rich foods containing olive phenolic compound hydroxytyrosol, alpha lipoic acid as well as green barley grass complements oat beta-glucan in promoting heart health benefits.
